Presented summer activities of the Olympic Jahorina

We are witnessing global climate changes and high temperatures that are expected to continue in the near future, which means that Jahorina, with its rich offerings, has no alternative and remains the number one destination even in the summer season in our region. Today was the ideal opportunity to present the summer activities at Jahorina.

The organizers of the promotion were the Olympic Center Jahorina, the Association of Hoteliers, and the Tourist Organization of East Sarajevo, and visitors had the chance to try numerous activities for free.

The panoramic cable car ride has become increasingly attractive, with nearly 2,000 rides achieved in June and July, which is almost 50% more compared to previous years for those months.

In addition to fresh mountain air, various activities and attractions are available, including: hiking on mountain trails, mountain bike rides (with bike carriers on the cable car), tubing on the Ogorjelica Fun Park track, use of the football field, basketball, volleyball, and handball courts, swimming pools, gyms, saunas, billiards, and table tennis.

Also significant are the excellent wellness and gastro offerings in Jahorina hotels, quad biking, e-bike rides, bike downhill, paragliding, paintball, and excursions to Sarajevo, Višegrad, Tara, Neretva, and the Orlovača Cave.

During the summer, picking medicinal herbs, blueberries, and mushrooms is also popular.

The price for a single cable car ride is 7.00 KM per person, while the price for a daily bike pass on the cable car is 15.00 KM (5 rides only for mountain bike users).

Bicycles can be rented at prices of 5 KM for 1 hour, 8 KM for 2 hours, 9 KM for 3 hours, and 10 KM for a whole day.

The Olympic Center and Hotel Bistrica offer visitors: pool access + lunch for 15 KM, and a six-seater ride + lunch for 17 KM.

The affordable prices at Hotel Bistrica (overnight stay with breakfast for 49.00 KM) and the amenities it offers make Jahorina a great choice for a weekend or vacation.
