Slovenes Anže Sobočanin and Martina Klančnik Potrc claimed victory in the ultra race held as part of the “Jahorina Ultra Trail.” As their prize, they won either a car or a voucher worth 25,000 KM.
Anže completed the 160-kilometer course in 23 hours, while Martina conquered the same route in 26 hours and 43 minutes. The race featured a route that took participants from Prijevor through Trnovačko Lake, Volujak, Zelengora, Treskavica, all the way to Jahorina.
This event attracted over 6,000 visitors to the mountain, including six world-class competitors. Organizers highlight that this year’s race was particularly significant as it was the first time organized over a 160-kilometer distance, showcasing all the beauty of the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of BiH.
At the end of the competition, a concert was held featuring singer and event ambassador Nikola Rokvić, who also participated in the 30-kilometer race and thanked the organizers for the fantastic event.
The 10th “Jahorina Ultra Trail” brought together competitors from around the world, who participated in four different races. Each one is a special celebration of natural beauty, connecting the most beautiful parts of the Republic of Srpska and BiH into a unique endurance experience.
