Starting this weekend, the panoramic cable car rides will begin

The panoramic cable car rides on the Ogorjelica or Poljice six-seaters at Jahorina will be organized on weekends from June 24 to September 17, according to a statement from the Olympic Center “Jahorina.” The cable cars will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Olympic Center informs that the price for a single ride is seven KM, and the price for a daily “bike pass” is 15 KM. For organized groups of at least 20 people, the price will be six KM per person.

The six KM price for organized groups will be granted with a guest list certified by the hotel, association, or sports club. Payment can be made in cash at the “ski ticket office” or with a hotel voucher after prior agreement with the Olympic Center.

The statement adds that if there is a need to use the cable car on weekdays, groups must notify in writing seven days before the intended use.

“All visitors can enjoy the Olympic mountain of Jahorina this summer and take the opportunity to learn about the mountain’s summer activities, including hiking trails, mountain biking, paragliding, quad biking, and not to miss are the gastro offerings and wellness programs of Jahorina’s hotels,” says the Olympic Center.

The Olympic Center also notes that traditional sports camps for football and basketball will be organized at the fields in front of Hotel Bistrica during the summer.

The 9th International Football Camp “Red Star” will be held from July 15 to 22, and the 16th International Basketball Camp “Grave Three Points” will be held from July 2 to 9.

For trail running enthusiasts, the Jahorina “Ultra Trail” race will be organized on July 29 and 30.

“In addition to the affordable rates for accommodation at our Hotel Bistrica, we suggest that you experience our cuisine and take advantage of the panoramic six-seater ride or a full day of pool access for 17 KM or 15 KM,” the statement concludes.
